Have you ever wondered if you have had other lives besides your current life?
It's quite the question to ponder. The first recorded incidence of a past life being uncovered during hypnosis was way back in 1952. Since that time this phenomenon has grown and continues to grow to this day. I first became aware of the possibility of exploring past lives through a book that I read by Dr. Brian Weiss called Many Lives, Many Masters. Dr. Brian Weiss, a traditional therapist had clients who spontaneously began experiencing 'past lives' in their sessions. Intrigued, Dr Weiss and other therapists began researching into these experiences. I found it fascinating that numerous accounts of past life experiences have been able to be verified as factual. In fact some of these accounts have come from children who described memories of things that did not make any sense to their parents. Upon further investigation it was found that they were describing accounts of verifiable past events that they would have no way of knowing about through ordinary means. The University of Virginia School of Medicine website has some great information on this topic. A child's natural waking state can actually be considered a state of hypnosis. We all know that children are like sponges soaking up all the information around them and yet they don't yet have the reasoning power to sort and sift through the information. So it's not surprising that children would be able to access details from other experiences including "past lives". Another theory to explain the remembrance of events from the past is that of cellular memory. Meaning that the cells themselves are able to store memories and information. This theory is also used to explain new habits and preferences in people who receive organ transplants where the new behaviour can be attributed to the donor of the organ. Maybe when we are able to understand more about the 90% of our DNA that science has labelled as 'junk' we will gain additional understanding into this phenomenon. We also know that our epigenetic profiles are informed by events and experiences that occurred to our parents and grandparents. If for example, your grandparent experienced famine or a significant trauma this will have a very real effect upon your own epigenetics and thereby influencing your physiology. And we do know that this inheritance can be traced through numerous generations. We are much more connected and influenced by each other than it may appear at a first glance. There are different religions which also speak about the idea of reincarnation and living many lives. Some spiritual teachings say that we are all part of the same overall essence or energy so maybe we could even say that a little bit of us has been inside every life that has ever existed. Another theory that plays into this topic is that time itself is an illusion. And this is no longer a far fetched idea, it's been discussed in top scientific journals. Although it can be challenging for our minds to comprehend how everything can be occurring simultaneously, for me it feels more true than the idea of linear time. Many of my clients have experienced parallel lives during their sessions where there are multiple aspects of them living in different bodies concurrently. Coming back to the original question of whether or not you have experienced other lives, we can see there are some different ways of exploring more into that question. I'm not here to provide you with answers as I feel we each need to come to our own conclusions. But perhaps it might be something you are interested in exploring for yourself. You may think but why does this topic even matter? It doesn't change anything in my immediate situation so who cares? I would counter that if it helps you to understand more fully into yourself, your identity and your patterns then could it not also massively assist you to with transforming those aspects of yourself that have been impressed upon you like an overlay on top of your true self? Perhaps helping you to grow and evolve to a place of more ease and joy in your life. If you've wondered about other life experiences, it's possible to have a direct experience of other aspects of yourself during a Beyond Quantum Healing session. #StayCurious
