Unleashing the Depths: Exploring the Mysterious Realm of Hypnagogia for Profound Self-Discovery12/4/2023 We are well acquainted with two primary states of consciousness: wakefulness and sleep. The state that gets little attention is an intriguing intermediary state known as Hypnagogia, a term derived from the Greek words "hypnos" (sleep) and "agogos" (leading), denoting the transitional phase leading into sleep.
Have you ever dozed off and experienced a peculiar circumstance in which vivid imagery, colors, sounds, and even dream-like narratives unfold within your mind? Have you ever caught yourself drifting into slumber, witnessing a mesmerizing collection of shapes and hues fleeting in and out of your consciousness? or observing nonsensical transformations like birds morphing into paper airplanes? These encounters are all manifestations of hypnagogia, and it is likely that you experience this phenomenon multiple times a week, or perhaps even daily, before drifting off to sleep. Diverse Facets of Hypnagogia Your experience of hypnagogia can vary based on whether you are primarily a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic (physically-oriented) person. Here are some standard ways hypnagogia is experienced:
It is also common to experience multiple forms of hypnagogia simultaneously. For example, you might visually enter a memory from the day that transforms before your eyes into an array of physical sensations and sounds. The combinations are limitless. Throughout history, hypnagogia has been embraced by writers, artists, philosophers, and inventors as a means of igniting new ideas, insights, and creative breakthroughs. Renowned figures such as artist Salvador Dali, writer Mary Shelley, scientist Albert Einstein and inventor Thomas Edison all leveraged hypnagogia to achieve success and you can too! #StayCurious

Unlock the power of the subconscious7/13/2022 Have you ever stopped to consider the incredible power of your subconscious mind? It plays a significant role in shaping your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Your subconscious mind is responsible for automatic thoughts, habits, and emotional reactions, and has a profound influence on the way you perceive and interpret the world around you. According to some theories, your subconscious mind is also the source of your creativity and intuition, and can be a powerful tool for personal growth and self-improvement. By gaining access to and understanding the workings of your subconscious mind, you can learn to overcome limiting beliefs and behaviors and unlock your full potential. In this blog post, we'll explore some techniques that are commonly used to tap into the power of the subconscious mind. Your experiences, beliefs, and values also play a crucial role in shaping your subconscious mind. As you go through life, your subconscious mind is constantly processing and storing the information you encounter. Positive experiences can be stored as positive memories, while negative experiences can be stored as negative memories. Over time, these memories and associations can shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. One of the most popular techniques for accessing the power of your subconscious mind is meditation. Meditation allows you to quiet your conscious mind and enter a state of deep relaxation, which can help you to access that deeper part of yourself. During meditation, you can focus on positive affirmations or visualize meeting your goals, which can help to reprogram your subconscious mind for success. Hypnosis is another powerful technique for accessing your subconscious mind. During hypnosis, a trained professional can guide you into a deep state of relaxation. This state is also known to produce theta brain waves. This is the state that clients are in during Beyond Quantum Healing Sessions. It's important to note that your mental and emotional state is not solely determined by your experiences and environment. While these factors can have a profound influence on your well-being, you have the ability to learn and grow, and to develop new thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that can help you overcome the challenges of your past. One effective way to become aware of any beliefs that may be preventing you from attaining your goals is to engage in regular self-reflection and self-examination. By taking time to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, you can gain insight into the beliefs and assumptions that underlie your actions and decisions. Seeking feedback from others and seeking out the guidance and support of a therapist, coach, or mentor can also be helpful. In conclusion, your subconscious mind is a powerful tool for personal growth and self-improvement. By tapping into its power, you can overcome limiting beliefs and behaviors and unlock your full potential. Whether you use meditation, visualization, hypnosis, or other techniques, the key is to become aware of your beliefs and to develop more supportive and empowering ways of thinking. By doing so, you can achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life. #StayCurious

Have you ever wondered if you have had other lives besides your current life?
It's quite the question to ponder. The first recorded incidence of a past life being uncovered during hypnosis was way back in 1952. Since that time this phenomenon has grown and continues to grow to this day. I first became aware of the possibility of exploring past lives through a book that I read by Dr. Brian Weiss called Many Lives, Many Masters. Dr. Brian Weiss, a traditional therapist had clients who spontaneously began experiencing 'past lives' in their sessions. Intrigued, Dr Weiss and other therapists began researching into these experiences. I found it fascinating that numerous accounts of past life experiences have been able to be verified as factual. In fact some of these accounts have come from children who described memories of things that did not make any sense to their parents. Upon further investigation it was found that they were describing accounts of verifiable past events that they would have no way of knowing about through ordinary means. The University of Virginia School of Medicine website has some great information on this topic. A child's natural waking state can actually be considered a state of hypnosis. We all know that children are like sponges soaking up all the information around them and yet they don't yet have the reasoning power to sort and sift through the information. So it's not surprising that children would be able to access details from other experiences including "past lives". Another theory to explain the remembrance of events from the past is that of cellular memory. Meaning that the cells themselves are able to store memories and information. This theory is also used to explain new habits and preferences in people who receive organ transplants where the new behaviour can be attributed to the donor of the organ. Maybe when we are able to understand more about the 90% of our DNA that science has labelled as 'junk' we will gain additional understanding into this phenomenon. We also know that our epigenetic profiles are informed by events and experiences that occurred to our parents and grandparents. If for example, your grandparent experienced famine or a significant trauma this will have a very real effect upon your own epigenetics and thereby influencing your physiology. And we do know that this inheritance can be traced through numerous generations. We are much more connected and influenced by each other than it may appear at a first glance. There are different religions which also speak about the idea of reincarnation and living many lives. Some spiritual teachings say that we are all part of the same overall essence or energy so maybe we could even say that a little bit of us has been inside every life that has ever existed. Another theory that plays into this topic is that time itself is an illusion. And this is no longer a far fetched idea, it's been discussed in top scientific journals. Although it can be challenging for our minds to comprehend how everything can be occurring simultaneously, for me it feels more true than the idea of linear time. Many of my clients have experienced parallel lives during their sessions where there are multiple aspects of them living in different bodies concurrently. Coming back to the original question of whether or not you have experienced other lives, we can see there are some different ways of exploring more into that question. I'm not here to provide you with answers as I feel we each need to come to our own conclusions. But perhaps it might be something you are interested in exploring for yourself. You may think but why does this topic even matter? It doesn't change anything in my immediate situation so who cares? I would counter that if it helps you to understand more fully into yourself, your identity and your patterns then could it not also massively assist you to with transforming those aspects of yourself that have been impressed upon you like an overlay on top of your true self? Perhaps helping you to grow and evolve to a place of more ease and joy in your life. If you've wondered about other life experiences, it's possible to have a direct experience of other aspects of yourself during a Beyond Quantum Healing session. #StayCurious

Hypnosis. What it is, and what it isn't1/18/2022 Hypnosis often conjures up the idea of some sort of loss of control of one’s mind. But is that grounded in reality? Is there a loss of control while in a hypnotic trance state?
The word “trance” implies a state of semi-consciousness, in which an individual is unaware of what is going on around them and is incapable of taking any action for themselves. Or perhaps your mind goes to the entertaining use of stage hypnosis. Neither of these scenarios are reflective of what takes place during a Beyond Quantum Healing Session. The word hypnosis simply means “the coming on of sleep”. You see, it is a natural state of relaxation that is entered daily as we drift off to sleep. Most clients report that there were no tell tale signs that they were in a state of hypnosis, and that they simply felt relaxed throughout the session. The whole intent with hypnosis as it is used in BQH is to quiet the thinking, rational mind in order to access the wisdom that resides within the subconscious. A very small percentage of people will naturally go into a deeper state of hypnosis called a somnambulistic state. This is what’s happening during sleepwalking. The body is awake, but the higher mind is asleep and usually not much of the episode will be recalled upon waking. For those people who are natural somnambulists they will remember little of what they experienced in a session. This does not minimize the benefits gained from the process. But it is helpful for these clients especially, to have a recording of their session to watch at a later time. One study indicated that sleepwalking occurs in 29% of children. In adults the prevalence is about 4%. But just because you sleepwalk does not necessarily mean you will go into a somnambulist state during hypnosis. I can tell you this from personal experience! As a child I had frequent sleepwalking episodes and I do still have an occasional occurrence as an adult. Yet I have never gone into a somnambulist state during any of the numerous hypnosis sessions I have experienced. Clinical hypnotherapy is yet another approach and it relies upon the use of hypnotic suggestions as a means to benefit clients. Beyond Quantum Healing does not employ clinical hypnotherapy techniques such as hypnotic suggestion. What needs to be stated about the hypnotic state is that individuals always retain their free will and cannot be convinced to do anything that they would not normally do during a fully alert state. BQH clients report feeling relaxed as they receive a flow of information, of which they cannot explain the origin, yet it holds deep meaning for them. If you are feeling some interest in experiencing this for yourself let’s connect! #StayCurious |
