Was it a morphic field in action?3/15/2024 Have you heard of morphic fields? According to British biologist Rupert Sheldrake, morphic fields are invisible, organizing fields that shape the form and behavior of living things and are present in all living systems. They are thought to be not just the result of physical interactions, but also to emerge from the collective memory and experience of a group or species. The theory suggests that when a living system interacts with its environment and learns from its experiences, it leaves a "memory" or impression in the morphic field associated with that location, which can be accessed by other living systems present in the same location. This idea is sometimes referred to as the "memory of nature" and may explain phenomena such as the "inheritance of acquired characteristics" and the ability of animals to learn and adapt to their environment. One possible example of how a morphic field impression might be noticed is the phenomenon of "cultural transmission" in animals. Cultural transmission refers to the way that certain behaviors or habits are passed down from one generation to the next within a species. For example, some species of birds have been observed to use specific tools or techniques to find food, and these behaviors can be passed down through the generations without the individual birds being taught directly by their parents. This phenomenon could be explained by the idea that the collective memory and experience of the species is stored in the morphic field associated with that species, and that individual birds are able to access this information and learn from it. I had an interesting experience involving a mouse overpopulation that I believe was an example of a morphic field in action. Country living and cats seem to go hand in hand. This cat, as we came to learn by the tattoo in his ear was named Fred. We didn't know how he came to be hanging around our place, but we were happy he did. He was a lovely cat, very affectionate and a great mouser. He joined our family when he was nine years old until his passing at 16. He was great pals with our llama's! By the spring following his passing our barn was over run with mice. They were running around everywhere! Getting well fed by eating our chicken's feed.
As we thinking that we needed to get another cat, we learned the nearby farm we buy our honey from had taken in a stray cat that was not getting along with their other cats. It was decided that this cat would come and live with us. I noticed within a day of this new cat being present that there was not a single mouse to be found in the barn. There was no way the cat could have dispatched so many mice so quickly. This made me wonder if there was a morphic field at play. If previous mice had left information in a morphic field that cats signaled danger to mice, is it possible that the present mice picked up on that and moved out as soon as the cat arrived? Mice live pretty short lives. None of the mice that our previous cat would have enountered would have still been alive in our barn to have had a direct experience with a cat. So it's either an inherent instinct or could it be information that the mice are able to access from their environment energetically as in a morphic field? But what really is instinct anyway? How do animals just seem to know certain things about their environment? #StayCurious

If you or someone you love experiences any of the following issues or you're interested in raising your consciousness, then this article is for you.
All of these unpleasant experiences can stem from a single common root cause - a dysregulated nervous system. Various factors, including trauma, chronic stress, and environmental conditions can cause the nervous system to become dysregulated. On a global scale, the last several years have been overly stressful for a high percentage of the population. On top of this, there are changes happening in our environment that you may not be consciously aware of. This has to do with an increase in the base resonant frequency of the earth, which is known as the Schumann Resonance.
When I look at the overall state of heath of society in North America it seems that the "American dream" is becoming increasingly unachievable. The landscape has changed so significantly that young adults are entering into a world where they cannot simply follow the same route that their parents and grandparents took and expect to achieve long term stability in their lives. They are in a position of having to figure out a new model in order to get their needs met. This lack of stability is likely having a very dysregulating influence on multiple generations, affecting the health of our communities. Collectively, the levels of trauma that people are carrying, combined with the break down of long standing systems of education, health care and government in my opinion, is bringing everything to a crunch point. Can you feel it? It's clear to me why there's been a steep rise in many of the issues listed above, signalling an epidemic of nervous system dysregulation. When operating in a state of dysregulation, individuals will automatically react to perceived threats with fight, flight, freeze or fawn. This system has helped us survive acute threats in our environment. However, when the nervous system is dysregulated it overreacts and perceives threats from more mundane situations and our response is limited to one of fight, flight, freeze or fawn. When an individual becomes cut off from their creativity and reasoning due to nervous system dysregulation, this removes them from using their problem solving abilities. The inaccessibility to the parts of our self that would be able to work through and resolve challenges from a higher perspective keeps us in a place of putting out fires rather than working to stop them from forming in the first place. Because of this, it becomes nearly impossible to make progress towards our goals. When our nervous system does not feel safe to take on any more, it will use self-sabotage as a protective mechanism. There's no escaping the effects of an overstimulated and dysregulated nervous system. Dysregulation might show up in someone's life as an inability to improve their situation. Maybe they are in an unhealthy relationship or job that makes them unhappy, yet not able to make the changes that would improve things for them. It could also present itself as someone who overreacts to minimally stressful situations or has no real reaction at all (freeze response). Previous trauma can trigger PTSD, where anything that reminds the person of their past traumatic experience instantly sends them into an unregulated state. Working through trauma can be an important part of the process to achieve long term nervous system health. According to psychotherapist, author and entrepreneur Benjamin Fry, many conditions with the "mental health" label are rooted in nervous system dysregulation. To get out of the cycle of stuckness the nervous system needs to be regulated. A couple years ago I realized that I was severely burned out. I had to learn what I needed to do in order to recover and not only that, I had learn how to make lasting changes so that I didn't get myself into the same spot again. I had been totally in the dark about the poor state my nervous system was in. This realization came somewhat by chance and it opened up a path of deep understanding. If you or someone you love is experiencing a dysregulated nervous system I hope this blog post will bring value. Listen to your body. Many of us have been conditioned to suppress our sensitivities. Because of this it can take some time and focused attention to notice how the nervous system reacts to different environments Get curious and pay attention to the subtle signals that your body is giving you. What in your environment is dysregulating you? You'll pick up more clues over time as you continue to curiously observe. When it comes to regulating the nervous system there are a lot of different practices that can be used. The great news is that they are all very accessible! Select a few things from the below list to spend time on each day. Try them all to discover which activities are the most regulating for you. And work to minimize whatever you have identified is causing dysregulation.
As you begin to regulate, your capacity to take on more will grow. Nervous system regulation will fuel you! And be aware that if you overdo it your nervous system will reel you back in. That is it's job after all 😉
The final piece that I want to mention about nervous system health is that it also goes hand in hand with your level of consciousness. Higher levels of consciousness are associated with more peace and more love, both for ourselves and others. Research in the field of consciousness has found that there comes a point where the nervous system needs optimization in order to keep rising. The research has shown that by taking magnesium and omega 3's in a specific ratio, the nervous system can be optimized in about 90 days. That ratio is 1000 mg's of magnesium to 4000 mg's of Omega 3. In the event of needing to recover from any intense event that has depleted the nervous system, sunflower lecithin can be used at 100 mg's per 10 lbs of body weight. The research can be found at www.flfe.net The nervous system is a key element in reaching a place of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and the current global environment is putting a significant amount of pressure on this body system. Have you resonated with this at all? I'd love to hear your thoughts. If you know someone who may benefit from this information, please share! #StayCurious

The language of water1/8/2024 Lately I've been drawn towards learning more about water. In a way that seems like a rather silly thing to say. You might think, what else is there to learn about water that we don't already know? Are you aware that it's possible to change how water molecules form together using just human thought? Dr. Masuro Emoto published a number of books on this interesting subject. By speaking to the water or even writing messages on containers of water, Emoto was able to show that words influenced the crystals that formed when the water was subsequently frozen. Since our own bodies are made of mostly water, it does make one think about the effects that both our thoughts and the thoughts of others might be having on the water within our body and what the wider implications of that could be. Here we see that positive words form symmetrical images. Like snowflakes, most of the positive images have 6 sides. How much of an influence do we have on water? Could we improve upon the quality of polluted water just by directing our thoughts? And why exactly IS water influenced by our thoughts and words? Why does it respond to our thoughts? Water is made simply of hydrogen and oxygen. Yet it's able to receive and respond to human thought and language. I find that pretty incredible. The way that Homeopathy can affect living organisms when the remedy does not contain a single molecule of the original substance can be explained through this idea that water can be programmed and carry information. I've discovered a way to do my own experiments with water. Here's a small sampling of some structures I've captured when freezing water: Through the work of Veda Austin I'm learning about certain symbols, called hydroglyphs that the water uses to convey messages. Thinking about the potential of what I might learn by working with water has certainly fueled my curiosity and ignited my imagination.
Because of this incredible influence we have upon water I'm choosing to treat water as a powerful ally, interacting with it using my conscious intent. #StayCurious

Unleashing the Depths: Exploring the Mysterious Realm of Hypnagogia for Profound Self-Discovery12/4/2023 We are well acquainted with two primary states of consciousness: wakefulness and sleep. The state that gets little attention is an intriguing intermediary state known as Hypnagogia, a term derived from the Greek words "hypnos" (sleep) and "agogos" (leading), denoting the transitional phase leading into sleep.
Have you ever dozed off and experienced a peculiar circumstance in which vivid imagery, colors, sounds, and even dream-like narratives unfold within your mind? Have you ever caught yourself drifting into slumber, witnessing a mesmerizing collection of shapes and hues fleeting in and out of your consciousness? or observing nonsensical transformations like birds morphing into paper airplanes? These encounters are all manifestations of hypnagogia, and it is likely that you experience this phenomenon multiple times a week, or perhaps even daily, before drifting off to sleep. Diverse Facets of Hypnagogia Your experience of hypnagogia can vary based on whether you are primarily a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic (physically-oriented) person. Here are some standard ways hypnagogia is experienced:
It is also common to experience multiple forms of hypnagogia simultaneously. For example, you might visually enter a memory from the day that transforms before your eyes into an array of physical sensations and sounds. The combinations are limitless. Throughout history, hypnagogia has been embraced by writers, artists, philosophers, and inventors as a means of igniting new ideas, insights, and creative breakthroughs. Renowned figures such as artist Salvador Dali, writer Mary Shelley, scientist Albert Einstein and inventor Thomas Edison all leveraged hypnagogia to achieve success and you can too! #StayCurious

Your secret superpower11/28/2023 I'm sure you know the saying, "mind over matter" It turns out that this phrase might hold more truth than was realized. The placebo effect, which is the difference that our thoughts and emotions have upon physical health outcomes, can have a significant impact on our overall well-being. In fact, studies show that our thoughts and emotions can influence physical health outcomes up to 50% of the time. Our thoughts and emotions are incredibly powerful! They can influence everything from our physical health to our relationships and our overall happiness. But sometimes, it can be easy to feel like the world is out of our control. The constant barrage of news, politics, and other stressors can leave us feeling helpless and powerless. But here's the thing: we are more powerful than we realize. The fear, stress, and emotional turmoil that we experience on a daily basis can have a significant impact on our overall well-being and the decisions we make. But we also have the power to change that. By taking control of our thoughts and emotions, we can overcome these stressors and take charge of our lives. So, what's your secret superpower? It's your ability to control your thoughts and emotions, to harness the power of the placebo effect, and to take control of your own well-being. It might not be as flashy as super strength or telekinesis, but it's a power that's readily available to all of us right now.
So, the next time you're feeling overwhelmed by the news, politics, or any other stressor, remember that you absolutely have the power to overcome it. Take a moment to breathe, center yourself, and focus on positive thoughts and emotions. By doing so, you might just find that you're able to overcome whatever challenges come your way. Remember, mind over matter. #StayCurious |
